Summary: Can we get a little more control please?

While we're on the subject, how about a modificatin to translator.device
to support a list of words and prefered translations that the user
supplies? I hate to say this, but it does use weerd phonemes at times.

Also, how about a change to narrator.device to actually change the length
of certain phonemes? A few of them drag on a bit too long.
