Here's the situation: I created a file using ED on the 1.2 Workbench disk; saved it. Went to the preferences, set the margins and for letter quality, then clicked 'use'. Printed the file using: copy file to prt: It printed fine. Then I went back and edited the file and tried to print it again. It didn't use the margins I set and it wasn't letter quality. I looked at the preferences. My settings were still like I had set them earlier, but it still would not print correctly. Then I rebooted the system; reset the preferences, clicked 'use'; This time it printed correctly. Then I made a change and tried to print it again, it didn't work correctly! I was having similar problems with TextCraft 1.1. I transferred it to 1.2 and replaced the old preferences with the new ones from 1.2. Whenever I tried to print a file, it wouldn't print in LQ and it didn't leave the correct margins. Also, it would not underline or perform any other special functions. When I replaced the 1.2 preferences with the ones from 1.1, everything worked correctly. What's wrong here? Am I doing something wrong or is it some kind of bug? By the way, I'm using the Epson FX-85 and the preferences were set to "Epson." Thank you for any help.
