Using MoreRows and interlaced workbench, I'm able to get 700 x 430 pixel screen! Even using Topaz 11 (which looks real nice in interlace), I get 35 lines in GnuEmacs, truly heavenly. (With background set to black and characters either green or orange, I find that I can work in interlaced workbench without any problems... I love it!) ANYWAY, a word of warning to you all who have not tried MoreRows. After you use MoreRows, you are supposed to go into Preferences, do a save, and then boot so that the new settings take effect. I have already trashed 2 disks by booting too quickly --- I exit Preferences, wait for the red light to go off, then boot. Unfortunately, you have to wait a bit more until the red light is definitely off and the disk stops making noises...Just having spent a while in DiskDoctor, I thought I should warn you --- Be careful when booting after Preferences! (BTW, in both cases the system-configuration file was the one to bite the dust...) Ali Ozer, ali@rocky.stanford.edu, ...decwrl!rocky.stanford.edu!ali
