When I xfer a LARGE file from my Unix host to my Amiga, using kermit
I notice something strange.  Can someone explain to me what is going on?

After the first 70k bytes or so, the disk starts seeking so much that
the xfer rate drops in half.  This happens on an old disk or a freshly
formatted one.  What a drag!

Is there anyway to do a LARGE kermit xfer and avoid this awful seeking
behaviour?
