BEFORE trying DiskDoctor (which tries to correct the problem on the disk
and may well trash it completely!), get a copy of DiskSalv (this is
widely available).  DiskSalv will copy whatever it can find on a disk to
another disk, WITHOUT modifying the original.  AFTER you are satisfied you
have a successful DiskSalv run, run DiskDoctor if you want. . .

DiskSalv was distributed on the net last year, and is also on one of the
Fish Disks.  Try contacting your local Amiga dealer for a copy.  If he
doesn't have it, ask him how to get in contact with the local Amiga users'
group.  (If all else fails, send me a message and we'll work something
out through the mails.)
