Does anyone out there know what it really means when appleworks says
getting errors trying to read  so and so...
I have a database file with aprroximately 2000 records
and Appleworks is barfing, unfortunately my backup copy does the same thing

Is there any way to recover the data from this file ?
Has anyone had a similar experience?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please reply directly, as I am not on the distribution list at present.
