A friend of mine has a programming problem and maybe someone has some ideas on how to solve the problem. The problem is as follows: He has a student tutorial program that must use a random access file quite often, to speed up the process of reading the file from the 5 1/4 floppy, he would like to load the file from the floppy into a ramdisk located in slot 3, since he could then access the file very fast from ram. Does anyone know of a way to have ProDos copy a file from one disk to another, while still under the control of basic? Any information that you may have will be appreciated.
