first,  I got some mail forwarded in a weird way from Harald Striepe, and
I have no clue where he is.  Harald could you send me something telling
me where you are so I can respond?
(the weird forwarding was due to a mail screw up locally)

second,  so far I have gotten about 5 responses to my request for info
about 8bitter's net access environments... I hope to get more!
