While this may not be desirable with a pay computer service(or long distance) it is highly desirable in many other environments. When comparing overall CPU performance of the ST to the 8 Mhz 80286, I find that in general they are fairly close--therefore a multi-tasking Kermit is not necessarily a bad thing and I will be looking forward to seeing Beckmeyer's new package.
