Something I could hook up to the cartridge port or DMA port that would appear to be another disk drive to the system, but inside which would be just RAM, a couple of megabytes or more, presumably cheaper than a hard disc, and quieter. When I wanted to do some work, I'd copy the files off of my floppies onto it at the beginning of a session, and save 'em off at the end, just like any RAM disk.
