I saved the desktop, and zowie, it appeared on the ram disk! 5 Minutes earlier, I was using eternal (the same ram disk prg) as drive d and did a desktop save, and it put it on the floppy. With this 'proof by example' in mind, I claim the following: Drive C is reserved (as EVERYONE has already said, for the cartidge), and the solution is to rewrite the zzzap program and the autodisk program to put their files on drive D. rodney
