Lines: 18 Keywords: Combine small ones Let's take a moment to consider the case of large and small postings. For large posting where even the source or binary by itself may require separate parts, they should be separated, and could even be in separate groups. But a small utility with 1 or 2K of assembler source should be posted as a package. I see no need to moderate the really small stuff (like a lot of Braner's postings), and the rapid feedback that we get with unmoderated postings is worthwhile. I suggest that the moderated group handle all multipart postings and all those over a certain size (say 10K), and that anything smaller stay as is. As for source, can the moderators include the language specs in the Subject line, so that we know whether it is a language that we can compile? -- Bill Silvert Marine Ecology Laboratory, Dartmouth, NS, Canada CDN or BITNET: silvert@cs.dal.cdn -- UUCP: ..!{seismo|utai}!dalcs!silvert ARPA: silvert%dalcs.uucp@seismo.CSS.GOV -- CSNET: silvert%cs.dal.cdn@ubc.csnet
