Listen, Simon - I would send ATARI a little box, with something ,,ticking'' in it (you can see what I mean every time you produce a bus-error) ... ... if they change the next ROM-version (if there will ever be one ...) so that it won't load desk-accesories and desktop.inf from drive C. ---> BECAUSE: Due to a bug in the us-version of the TOS-ROMs (I think it's only ,,a bit'') this version WON'T boot a hard-disk - so, I agree with you - it wouldn't make sense to load the above named files from c: . ---> BUT: I've got my 60MB-Supra BOOTING for over 1/2 a year now !!! And I like it this way ... 'cause I never had any serious problems ... Thus IT MAKES SENSE, because loading something from a SUPRA-Drive (I don't know the performance of ATARI-drives ...???!!!...) is MUCH FASTER, than loading it from a 354 or 314 ... Rgds.
