A .ACC file is a program that gets loaded at boot-time by the computer, and is sort of a 'memory resident mini-multi-tasking program'. The VT-52 emulator that comes with the computer, for example, is a desk acc. Desk accessories are almost always available to the user (via the menu bar). Desk Accessories are _not_ runnable from the desktop., nor are they loadable in the auto folder. A .PRG is just a program file that is runnable from the desktop. --alex @ Atari BIX: alexl.
