I was told by the guy who gave them to me during a computer faire that he had gotten the 40+ files from some old DEC disks. Well, some months ago I've adapted the game to the Atari ST using CCD/OSS Pascal. I have play-tested it for a while and now I'd really like to share the fun with all fellow Atarians on the net. Being scared by all that legal talk about YACC and EMPIRE, I want to be definitely sure that ADVENTURES (also known as COLOSSAL CAVE) is in the public domain before sending it off to James Turner. So, here are my questions: - Who knows the original authors and where are they located now? - How can I get in contact with them? - Is this program really in the public domain? If I don't get negative feedback, saying "No, don't do it!", within 2 to 3 weeks from now, I'm going to send a 3.5" disk containing the executable program to James for distribution.
