Actually, I'm trying to decide between an ST and an Amiga (forgive me). I've already done some looking into the differences, but I'm afraid that I'm a little behind the times. I was hoping that someone could answer some questions for me: 1. Has Atari upgraded their operating system to allow some form of multitasking? If not does someone else supply a multitasking OS? What about MINIX? 2. Who retails the ST line in the Redondo Beach (LA) area? 3. Who supplies what hard disks for the ST? 4. Does X Windows run on the ST? 5. Does GNU emacs or a micro emacs run on the ST? Thanks for your patience. Bob Amstadt trwrb.uucp!wiley!bob csvax.caltech.edu!wiley!bob bob@wiley.uucp
