A CSUB is written in the Pascal workstation environment, using Pascal and/or assembly. The compiled module is processed by a utility which transforms it into a LOADable BASIC subroutine. Parameters can be passed, COM can be accessed, etc. There are also support routines for device and file IO from the CSUB with BASIC revision 5.0. I don't fully understand your requirements, but still suggest that you check out the capability of CSUBs.
