I need some information about accelerator cards for an IBM PC (original). Basically, what I'm trying to decide is whether it's worth trading in my old PC for an AT compatible, or rather buying an accelerator board and installing it in the last of the 5 slots. Can these boards be put in an original PC (5 slots, 64k motherboard)? If so, what are some good boards? How well do they work, how much are they and are they worth the money. Any notes, good or bad, would be most appreciated. Please, e-mail only. I'll post a summary if I receive enough responses. Thanks much. ps- sorry if this topic has already been broached.
