It provides history of previously used commands as well. Additionally, some programs (gnuplot for instance) have been configured so that Ced can provide its functions within those programs. Ced is apparently freely distributable, provided that you include Ced and Ced.doc as a package. Ced.doc ascribes authorship to: Copyright 1985 Christopher J. Dunford 10057-2 Windstream Drive Columbia, Maryland 21044 Sorry, he didn't state an email address. Ced.doc provides quite a few clear examples on Ced's use. In general, I have found Ced to be relatively helpful. If anyone out there wants Ced, drop me a note. I'd prefer that you send a blank 5.25 inch disk, as that would keep net traffic down.
