It has a switchable (4.77/8 MHz) 8086 board with 8087 socket and comes with 512K (expandable to 640K on board) and one 5.25" floppy drive. A second external drive (5.25" or 3.5") can be added. There is also a serial, a parallel, a video, a mouse, and a ST-type disk port along the rear, but there are no expansion slots (no more room!) The video modes supported are the Hercules mono, CGA, and optional EGA. I heard that there is a special monochrome monitor that can display all modes using gray-scales. Cost ranges from $500 (no EGA) to $700 (w/EGA & mono monitor). -- ======================================================================= | Mark Schaffer | Disclaimer: The preceding ideas are mine,| | Villanova University | all mine, except in cases of | | (Go Wildcats!!) | being brainwashed by others. | ======================================================================= | Don't let the turkeys | Kirk (about Spock): "...he took too much | | get you down! | LDS in the '60's." | |====================================================================== | US SNAIL: 314 Grays Lane, Haverford, PA 19041 | | | | Collie Net: #1/804 or #9/804 Reduced to a mere number! | | / | | UUCP: ...ihnp4!psuvax1!vu-vlsi!excalibur!164485913 | | ...burdvax!/ | | ...cbmvax!/ or simply: 164485913@excalibur.UUCP | | ...pyrnj!/ | | ... bpa!/ | | | | BITNET: 164485913@vuvaxcom | =======================================================================
