If I could do this, I would get much quieter operation, eliminating the noisy click-click as I select/read/unselect the drive. (I thought I got away from that when I stopped using a system with 8" floppies.) My Panasonic, nee' Shugart, SA 455, 360 KB drive works exactly as I describe it above, and it is much quieter in operation. Any suggestions?
