For example: suppose I am in Word-Star and I want to create a keyboard macro that when I press a certain key, it will print my name. So far that is easy. But, if I am in the middle of the sentence, and I am not insert mode, I may overwrite my text. I want the macro to be smart and check if there is the message "INSERT ON" on the screen and if not then enter insert mode first. Also I need the following features: - I want to know the location of the cursor on the screen. - I want to use text that is on the screen in a macro and have string function to modify it.
