The march release version will support remote volumes on the VMS VAX with read only volumes, password protected volumes, and seperate desktop and temp files coded by user name (set with the chooser). 2. It will also support moving files to/from the regular vms file system without going through the mac. 3. It has full support for laserwriter spooling which is very fast and requires no modifications to your system to use it. The spooler system is independent of the file server. 4. rumours of things to come: a. Full hfs/appleshare compatibility b. imagewriter II/appletalk spooler c. remote login to the vms host d. remote access through the host to decnet protocols... 5. bottom line: I love it.....it seems to be very reliable (much better than the bernoulli box we were using as a file server) -ed cetron center for engineering design univ of utah
