I am having a very intermittant problem with my vanilla Mac+.  3 or 4 times
in the last 6 months I've experianced the following failure (my Mac is about
a year old):

On power-on, I get the beep, then nothing; The screen doesn't even light up.
Cycling the power off and on doesn't correct this.  I hit reset, and everything
comes up just fine.  Subsequent power -off and -on cycles work too.

I am booting off a DataFrame 20 (not XP yet) with the new software installed.
Anybody out there have any ideas what's happening?
