In view of a prior note by someone who had had bad experiences with
the Jasmine Direct Drive, I feel compelled to relate my own
contrasting experience:

1) Direct Drive 20 was delivered within 24 hours of the date promised
by Jasmine at the time of order. Cost $589

2) Drive started up without any problems after connecting my Mac+ with
the included cable.

3) One week of solid use and no crashes yet.

4) 9-10 megabytes of  PD software included


5) Hard Disk Backup (FWB) bought from MacConnection worked flawlessly
at full and incremental backups.
