I use resedit to get access to the STR resource and put in MacinTalk phonetic strings in the 'the String' boxes and all I get from the moose is that it says "Error" and then proceeds to say all of the other strings that I have left unmodified in the file. Are there some special animation characters that I need to put in or what? Are the '='s just really equal signs or are THEY special? Please Email me a suggestion: I can't figure it out. Or the source codes would be nice. Ron Shigeta
