QDial has an example of this.  It's written in MDS Assembler, but it's
fairly well written and understandable.  I'm not sure it has been posted
to the net or not.  If you need a copy of it let me know and I'll
send you a copy. (It is in the public domain - written by Leo LaPorte(?)
sysop of the MacQueue BBS in San Francisco)
