I just got the new issue of Scientific American, and in the Computer
Recreations column there is a fascinating description of the cellular  
automata simulation of life in three dimensions.  The article mentions that a 
Macintosh version is available.  Does anyone on the net have such a 
program, and if so would you be willing to post it?  

P.S.  I have a fantastic implementation of the 2D version, by Larry 
Hutchinson, and if there is any interest, I will post it, along with a 
scrapbook file full of life forms.  By the way, I also have an extremely fast
new version of a Mandelbrot set drawing program by Robert Munafo, if
anyone's interested.
