This package includes the robot kit, the RF remote control, the IR motion detector, and the ROM cartridge adapter. The basic robot includes a Polariod sonar, (for ranging), sound detectors, and a voice synthesizer based on the Votrax SC01 chip. If you want to program it, you also want to get the rs-232 port ($50) and the Basic cartridge ($50). If you like to build kits, its a lot of stuff for $200. I assume this is a closeout price; at one point the Hero Jr. sold for around $800 or more. According to my catalog, this price is good until April 1, 1987. If you don't want to build the kit, I might consider selling mine and building the kit again.
