Andreen & Associates, Inc. San Antonio, Texas Lines: 19 Keywords: 6000, XENIX, headcount Summary: Can you put a faster CPU in a 6000? [line eaters, eat THIS!] I have two general inquiries: 1. Can (or has anyone) one drop a 68010 or 68020 on a Tandy 6000? Can one put a faster 68000 in it? What gets messed up / why not? 2. How many Tandy 6000 users are there on the net and how are your machines configured? The system I use is a 6000 running XENIX 3.01.02 with a full news feed, sendmail, pathalias and some of the other "luxuries" one might not expect to find on a [super]micro site. Please just drop me a note; I will summarize and post to this group for other's benefit. Thanks! -- Jon Boede ...!{ihnp4,akgua,gatech}!petro!jrb 512/599-1847 2555 N.E.
