Summary: Get makekey & Crypt from SCO

At last check SCO DOES make available to ((registered user) && (U.S. resident))
the crypt and /usr/lib/makekey stuff.  It's not included in the distribution
package because of Dept. of Commerce export restrictions.  I know it's
available, because I asked for it and they cheerfully sent it.  Took 2 days
and no money.

Hope this helps.
(ps.. they're not likely to give you the algorithm itself, (i.e. in source) for
what should be obvious reasons.)
