The VMS machine also supports DECNET. We would like a printer that has a higher duty cycle than a LaserWriter and can print faster than 8 pages per minute. The IBM, UNIX and VMS computers must all be able to send prints to it, either directly through the ethernet (preferred) or using one of the other machines as a server. We have asked DEC for information about their new ethernet-attached printer server (and I am sure we will someday receive that info! :-). Any ideas, tips or help with our search for a solution would be greatly appreciated. Please send replies directly to me, and I will summarize and post anything worth sharing. Thanks, Peter W.
