We've had essentially free access to INFOVAX at Caltech for quite some time now
(The teleconference is available to all users of a number of computers, and the
manager of the computer that handles redistribution to other systems generally
asks only that the manager of any system for which a copy is requested agrees
to handle any necessary redistribution to individuals of that computer).  I
know of no problems that have arisen from this practice.
