Does anyone know how the 8600 detects an environmental alarm condition?
What I'd like to have happen is if there is such a condition the VAX
would use the autodialer to make a call, probably to the phone number
which sets off the beeper someone is carrying during off-hours.

I'm about to "go fiching" but am hoping someone might have the answer
to this question already.
