I'm aware that it is likely obsolete now, but at last we have someone with time to look at it (it ain't me). When I looked at the package, I saw no obvious "cookbook" for defining strange terminal types. The person looking at EMACS now has asked for assistance in "editing SITE_INIT.EL". Is there a file I missed which describes how to do this? Has anyone defined any of our local terminal types (eg. TVI912, 920, 950, 950R; ADM31, ADM3A; VC404, 404PF, 4404, 414, 415, 4152; XL84; VI300; VIKING; HP2647)? The list here is not exhausitve, but as you can see there are a LOT of different terminals in our user community. It is probably most expedient to post replies just to me. (I expect a lot of sites will have definitions for me which will be of little benefit flooding the net.) Thanks as always. b. -- Brent Sterner *********************** Lord Protector, d i g i t a l Systems * * Computing & Communications Services * ...but my OTHER * Natural Sciences Building * computer runs * The University of Western Ontario * UNIX... * London, Ontario, Canada N6A 5B7 * * Telephone (519)661-2151 x6036 *********************** Network !
