When a user on one node sends VMS MAIL to >a user on the other node, the recipient is NOT notified... (New mail on node >NODE from USER). Anyone know why ? It sounds suspiciously like you have two copies of SYS$SYSTEM:VMSMAIL.DAT. To keep the mail system happy if you have a cluster it works best to have one copy of the VMSMAIL.DAT file in SYS$COMMON:. I also highly recommend the use of DECnet aliases for clusters with common SYSUAFs. R. Kevin Oberman LLNL arpa: oberman@lll-icdc.arpa (415) 422-6955 ------
