There's been some discussion on the list lately about Fujitsu Super Eagles,
and recently Digital Review had a lab test report on the new CDC drive.

I'd like to hear from people who are using, or have looked into, new disk
drive/controller technology.  I'm especially interested in the
 CDC SMD II  & III
 Fujitsu  2351 (Eagle) &  2344 (Swallow?)
 SI 9798  (what is this really?)
 DEC RA82  (when and whether it will be worth it.)

and of course the controllers that go with them.
