The easiest way to find hidden directory files is to perform a ANALYZE/DISK on the disk in question. It will tell you all of the directories that do not have a .DIR file type. *********************************************************************** >Does anyone know if there is a way to distinguish >between > 1) a "regular" VMS file that has > type DIR, and > 2) a DIR file which Don't know of any way to find out from DCL. There is however a bit in the file header that says "I'm a directory file".
