I would say that for a VAX systems manager, having access to this list is probably just as important, if not more important, than having access to Colorado Customer Support or Local Users Groups. The vast range of experience and knowledge possessed by the folks on this list, the diversity of hardware and software environments which they represent, and their willingness to help out with a question or problem is unparralled by anything that DEC has or ever will have.
