Something's wrong here. The VAXCluster I used to manage had 5-7 RA81s, two HSC50s and lots of power outages (we blow up BIG transformers here). The RA81s, RM80s and RA60s would usually spin up by themselves unless they experienced some type of failure (one RM80 liked to toss its drive belt on occassion). Once the HSC50s rebooted, the system would taken right off again on a (very) short power outage or the VAXes reboot on longer ones. Talk to your field service people, something is not right!
