A solution - convert to TPU. There are several section files out there that emulate the EDT editor so it shouldn't be too different. Good luck. A recent convert, Elizabeth Gayman - (GAYMAN@ARI-HQ1.ARPA) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I have a VT241 terminal which I usually set to display amber text on a dark banground by typing the followin line: P1pS(M0(H000L000S000)1(H000L000S000)2(H240L045S005)3(H140L045S035))\ The problem is that whenever I go into the EDT editor and issue the CHANGE command to use screen mode editing, the screen gets reset to green letters in on a dark background. Does anyone know why this happens, and more importantly what I can do to prevent it ? ------ ------
