Rather than post the 300+ line article again, this note is a pointer to
the article with the same title in the group "mod.comp-soc".  A brief
introduction to the conference;

International Informatics Access '87 -- a problem-solving forum on developing 
countries' use of electronic networks and databases.

You can participate in many ways:

  *  apply to be a DELEGATE or nominate someone else by sending in the form 
     BEFORE November 30.  Let others know!

  *  participate ONLINE by mailing your comments and questions to Harry
     Goodman (hplabs!wellhmg).  We are developing ways for you to exchange 
     ideas with delegates and others online before, during and after the first 
     IIA conference in Dallas, Texas in March, 1987.

  *  help spread the word and expand online participation.  Let us know if you 
     can port these and *future* messages to other systems.

The next three notes include a letter of introduction, a description of the 
face-to-face meeting next March and a nomination form.
