About Jamie's surprise about IED's failure
to include the interpretation of "Hounds of
Love" as a description of Kate's relationship
with her fans:
 
The reason IED did not mention this interpretation
is because it is WRONG.
 
Doug had that idea a very long time ago, asked
Kate point blank whether it was accurate or not,
and received a very definite 'no'. Even this didn't
seem to convince Doug at the time (judging from
the transcript of his interview), but presumably
he has come to see reason since then.
 
There is, of course, absolutely NO tangible evidence in the lyrics
of the song for such an interpretation.
