I've noticed a general tendency of people to talk about groups that I would guess are "punk" or "new wave" (labels used very hesitantly). I'm not saying that I don't like "that kind" of music, just that there's other stuff I'm at least more familiar with, and definately more comfortable with. Note though, that I can say I've gone from Billie Holiday to Velvet Underground without any troubles... And on radio stations... One of the best I've ever heard was WXRT in Chicago. It had(has) a college/ alternative feel to it, but is in it for the money. That may have changed...I haven't heard them for about 3 years...and I didn't realize what I was missing when I could listen to them... Music, all I need is music... David
