This virtual 3270 always interfaces to the VM application. If the server telent is unable to negotiate a transparent 3270 session (eg. with Unix tn3270 or UCLA ACP or another WISCNET, etc.), the virtual 3270 is converted to NVT by server telnet. My question is, is there a way to do protocol conversion on the VM host using a package such as SIMWARE's SIM3278 using WISCNET? I know about tn3270 so no need to mention that. I'm looking for a protocol conversion package that runs in VM, not at the remote end. Chris Markle cam@acc-sb-unix (301)290-8100
