Apparantly, the modem is unable to dial 1's that the phone system recognizes. Is there a way to adjust the tone on the modem or somehow have it configured to work properly? The phone system is made by Ericsson, and is a biggie (covers the entire UC San Diego campus), and the modem is a Prometheus 1200 external with digital readout option. If the modem cannot be fixed, what type of modem are compatible with Ericsson phone exchanges? ....!nosc!crash!pnet01!msmiley@NOSC ....!seismo!sdcsvax!crash!pnet01!msmiley@SDCSVAX
