Message-ID: <3376350a.982f@apollo.uucp> Date: Wed, 4-Mar-87 08:47:00 EST Article-I.D.: apollo.3376350a.982f Posted: Wed Mar 4 08:47:00 1987 Date-Received: Fri, 6-Mar-87 06:56:32 EST Organization: Apollo Computer, Chelmsford, Mass. Lines: 13 In the old days, if I had this line in my .newsrc file: options -n all,!rec.sport I would never see any of the rec.sport groups, and they wouldn't get added to my newsrc file. But now, with 2.11, the lines get added to my newsrc, with a ':', meaning subscribed-to. Then, when I run rn, I see those groups. Is this a bug or a feature? Maybe my mistake is trying to mix readnews with rn. If readnews is going to add those lines to my newsrc, shouldn't it put them in with a '!'?
