I suggested that the senduuname name be preserved, and that sites use the 'euuname' program to return their Usenet UUCP map entries for their site (see the 2.11 documentation about 'euuname'). It would no longer be a security whole because the site controls what will be sent back via euuname. It would be nice for mapping purposes that Usenet sites could set up their 'euuname' to provide this function. Then, when their map entries expire, the updates can be collected automatically.
