Please omit any flames. In response to two recent requests I post the following information. Micom - Interlan is currentl in joint development with Novell on a TCP gateway between a Netware fileserver and the TCP internet. The initial release of the product is tied to Netware Version 2.1, which Novell is aiming to ship sometime this summer. This is an integrated gateway, an intelligent card resides in the file server and talks TCP, while application programs, initially ifconfig, hostname, ftp, telnet, route, netstat, and some rutils; are executed on the workstations. There will also be a Bsd 4.2 socket library which application programs on the workstations can use to access the TCP network. For more information, price performance and availability, etc, the person to contact is Dave Williams, Director of End User marketing. For more technical information, I am your best bet.
