We need to add several more machines on the ethernet and I have a few basic questions. Using vampire type transceivers on a thick ethernet cable, where should the transceivers be located (near ends, middle, some marked position on the cable) and how close can transceivers be connected (10 m, 2.5m, other)? **** ** ** * * James George Dunham * * * * * * Department of Electrical Engineering *** * * * * * Southern Methodist University * * * * * Dallas, Texas 75275 **** * * **** (214)-692-2812 UUCP: {seismo, cbosgd, ihnp4, sun!convex, allegra!convex}!ndmce!pollux!jgd
