We have an ethernet connecting several machines who communicate using
BSD 4.2 remote commands. We need to add several more machines on the
ethernet and I have a few basic questions. Using vampire type
transceivers on a thick ethernet cable, where should the transceivers
be located (near ends, middle, some marked position on the cable) and
how close can transceivers be connected (10 m, 2.5m, other)?
